Introduction

WELLthy Communities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving underserved communities in the D.C. Metropolitan area, recognized the importance of updating its branding and digital presence to better highlight its initiatives, community impact, and Wellness Directory. To achieve this goal, the organization enlisted the expertise of Drmwx Creative Agency to design and develop a responsive website.

The Challenge

Prior to partnering with Drmwx Creative Agency, WELLthy Communities faced several challenges regarding its online presence. The organization’s existing website did not effectively showcase its mission and impact, hindering its ability to engage with the community and attract new supporters. Additionally, the outdated branding failed to reflect the organization’s commitment to holistic wellness, further limiting its reach and impact.

Approach

Drmwx approached the challenge by implementing a comprehensive web design process, beginning with a deep brand analysis and UX research. This involved conducting user interviews, analyzing competitors, and creating site maps and wireframes to guide the design process. Leveraging WordPress CMS and the Elementor plugin, Drmwx designed a visually appealing and user-friendly website that aligned with WELLthy Communities’ new brand identity.

Wellness Directory

A key component of the project was the integration of a custom Wellness Directory, designed to provide community members with easy access to wellness resources and services. Drmwx worked closely with WELLthy Communities to ensure that the directory met the organization’s specific needs and objectives, enhancing the overall user experience and functionality of the website.
